Tammy Ladda Duckworth became the first Thai American woman elected to the US Senate in 2016, representing the State of Illinois.
The Asian American Studies Center acknowledges the Gabrielino/Tongva peoples as the traditional land caretakers of Tovaangar (Los Angeles basin, So.
