Highlighter
The Highlighter tool on Foundations and Futures allows users to mark and color-code text passages within chapters using 16 different colors, add personal comments up to 250 characters, and generate shareable links to annotations. Users can access it through the top navigation bar on chapter pages, and it includes features to erase individual highlights or all highlights on a page.

Notes
The Notes feature on Foundations and Futures allows users to take notes on chapter modules using a text editor with customization options like header size, font type, and alignment, while displaying a character count. Users can save their notes and generate shareable links to distribute them to others.

Translation
The Translation feature on Foundations and Futures uses Google-powered statistical machine translation, accessible via a Translation icon that opens a widget with multiple language options. Once a language is selected from English (the default), it persists throughout the user’s browsing session on the website.
